ScrollSurvey with high school students
We prepared a survey about COVID-19 current testing methods and people’s experiences with these tests. We got their thoughts about a new possible diagnostic test and if they would be willing to use it.
Presentation to students
We gave a presentation to students around our age and explained what iGEM is. We explained the issue and the solution that we have been working on. We aimed to make known the knowledge of synthetic biology and recruit new students who might be interested. After our presentation, our team answered the audience’s questions to further improve their comprehension.
Public interview
We conducted public interviews and got their thoughts on these methods. We questioned their knowledge about it and furthered their understanding. We explained our goals and what we were trying to accomplish by doing these interviews.
