Expression Vector

Our aim was to amplify the gene sequence of the protein that can cut on a single strand of DNA from the relevant host DNA (by PCR). We used this cloning vector called pET His6 GFP TEV LIC (1GFP) to achieve this. It helped us clone the insert into the green fluorescent protein encoding vector (carrier) plasmid DNA by lic (ligation independent cloning) method (Recombinant Plasmid/DNA). On the N-terminus, it has a TEV-cleavable His6 fusion tag. GFP improves the expression and solubility of the protein. Restriction enzymes are utilized during cloning. Its 5’ and 3’ cloning sites LIC tag are destroyed during cloning. While its 5′ sequencing primer is GFP forward (5'cagctcgccgaccacta), its 3’ sequencing primer is T7 Reverse.
